About The Heart Work
How can I help HeartWorkers reconnect, and remain connected, to themselves and the people they care for, even within the complex and flawed systems where they carry out their work?
That is the compelling question that animates my work with HeartWorkers
It’s true that the social systems within which many HeartWorkers carry out their work - education, healthcare, business, criminal justice - are in deep need of transformation. It seems unwise, though, to suggest that an individual HeartWorker’s sense of purpose and their innate ability to connect deeply to the self, to others and to the wider world, is only possible after such an external transformation is complete. If that were the case, there would be little cause for hope. And, frankly, everywhere I look, all I can see is hope.
The resources, programs and community offered through The Heart Work exist as an alternative to the path of burnout that so many HeartWorkers find themselves on.
